This sweet crochet pixie hat has a rustic, woodland feel and a darling fairy shape! The hat is perfect for an advanced beginner but has a lovely, modern feel. You will feel confident to gift this darling hat to an expectant mother or even to sell in your shop. The pattern includes 4 sizes from 0-3 months to toddler.
This darling hat has been a WIP for almost a year. (I wonder if I am the only person who does that?)
I wanted to release the pattern last fall, as the pattern had a woodsy feel to it, which felt like fall to me. However, last fall I had a baby and despite my best efforts, I simply only had time for baby and scrapping together time for sleeping occasionally.
I am thrilled to finish up this hat and get the finally toddler size finished and added. This hat is so darling and looks so cute on little baby heads.
The pattern uses a heavy worsted yarn. I wanted it to have a rustic feel, so I went with City Tweed yarn for these hats. It was just perfect, honestly!

Just wondering, I am looking at the photos and wondering where you used the contrasting color yarn.
The little V stitches are used with different colored yarn.
