CROCHET NATIVITY SET – FREE CROCHET PATTERN
What you need:
– Size F hook (just make sure your gauge is very tight, you shouldn’t be able to see stuffing or spaces between your stitches.
– Fingering Weight Yarn: I cannot suggest Palette Yarn by WeCrochet enough. It is a 100% wool and has a gorgeous, rustic flair. I just love it and I only use this yarn for my sets!
For those who want to know which exact colors I used for my set, these are what I used:
Almond (tree trunk)
Rooibos Heather (reddish brown)–Weights like small washers or river rocks to weigh down the bottoms of the figures.
– Creche and Pedestal:
If you would like to purchase a creche to display your finished nativity set, I recommend this Etsy shop. They are beautifully made.
The free version includes the main figures: Mary, Joseph and Baby/Manger. Get the links below:
Additional figures are includes in the downloadable PDF; these figures include 3 wisemen, 2 shepherds, a palm tree, a small laying sheep, and an angel.
