Women’s Slipper Sole

Happy Saturday!
I don’t usually work on the weekend, but I have been trying with all my might to get a video tutorial up this week for my Loafer slippers. It’s been requested a few times, not as many times as my Boat Slippers (that video is coming soon!), but enough that I knew it would be a good idea to make a video. I am revamping my Youtube channel and have a goal to get a video up each week, so if you are a visual learner, be sure to subscribe to my channel. When I started doing videos, my first few were baby booties. I learned pretty fast that doing the sole over and over was a waste of time! So I did a separate video for the sole, since the sole is the same for all the booties. I don’t have as many women’s slippers as I do baby booties, but I have enough pairs to decide to do a separate video for the sole. With it completed, I wanted to have a companion post with other sizes for your reference. But I think it’s also helpful if you are interested in branching out and trying your own designs!

What you need:
Size 4.5mm hook
Medium Weight Yarn

Gauge: 8 sts = 2″

Note: Crochet slippers fit better if the sole is a bit smaller than your foot. If you are working on a project and would prefer your sole to be the exact size of your foot, go up a hook size (or two) from the hook you used to meet the gauge. The measurements given for the soles below are 1/4″ shorter than the true shoe size.
