With summer winding down here, I hesitated to post this pattern. I mean, Hobby Lobby already has Thanksgiving decorations up! Here in Vegas, however, we have a good 2 months of warm weather left, so I decided to post it. Plus, as summer fades away here, that means my friends in the southern hemisphere are gearing up for spring! Wherever you are, I hope you enjoy the crochet pattern for these Bitty Bow Baby Sandals.

Baby Sandals Construction:
Use your darning needle to attach the opposite side of your bow strap. Going in and out, sew it to the sc on the other side of the shoe. Make sure to thoroughly weave in the ends.
To make the flap into a bow, pinch it with your fingers (pinch it so the edges are going upwards, and the inside bumps up) and tie a knot of yarn using the same color leaving a long tail (Keep it a little bit loose) Make sure the knot is on the under side. Then, using the tail, wrap the yarn around the center of the strap 5 or 6 times. Tie off. You can also secure it with a dab of hot glue.

Wonderful! You are welcome :)
I love these! I am stuck on the body part though… I did steps a. and b. but I dont understand c. d. e. im making the 3-6 month size
Hi Kassie. In that part of the pattern, you are building up the heel, so you will be turning, instead of doing rounds and joining. Does that answer your question?
I have been trying to download/open this file and haven’t been able to. Can someone please email the pdf file to me at Purestitchery@gmail.com, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
these are adorable quick question. for the sole do i make two then slip stitch them together to make one sole? so 4 for a pair is what im reading correct? just making sure :)
Yes, 4 total. Two for each shoe. Happy crocheting!
I am making the 0 – 3 month and am stuck too. How do you attach the other side of the bow to the shoe?
There is a short paragraph at the end of the size instructions explaining how to sew the other side of the bow.
Thanks! :)
:( I’m stuck at the body portion. Don’t quite understand how shld I a.Ch1.Scinsamest.sc30.Ch9.Sc2nd chfromhook.Sc7.Slstintoshoe.
Which step and which size?
Hi I am stuck on the body part too, I am so confused as to how to start a chain. Do I need a knot? Every time I start a chain and then try to go and do a single crochet in the same stitch it all comes undone. I am so confused! I am a novice in the world of crocheting…
Always start with a slip knot, just like when you started your sole.
I can’t read it on my phone, I love your patterns but can’t read them from the site, is there any way you can email it to me, craftymom1024@Gmail.com

Courtney from FrySauceandGrit.com. SHUT UP! These are so cute! I love these! I’m going to make these for my daughter who just starting walking this week!
Thank you Courtney!! Congrats on the milestone, so fun :)
Very nice. I remember when my daughter’s feet were that small. Before you know it, you are buying shoes in toddler and kids sizes. Babies feet are the best.
Thanks! I know, my son is now a size 7 :( But luckily I have nieces to make these for!
Great sandals- so sweet!

Is there in way you can help me modify the 9-12 month pattern for older ages like 18 months and up?
To make them for an 18 month old. . I would follow the 9-12 month pattern but use a larger hook. Probably a 4.25mm or maybe even a 4.5mm. This pattern is lovely! But wow stitching into those slip stitches has got my hands aching! Thank you so much for sharing this.
These are adorable! I just saw them on the shabby nest. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks, Kelly! You are welcome :)
Those are TOO sweet! I love them!
Hey! I’m in Vegas too. And yes, this time of year is a little depressing for me. Everyone is getting ready for fall, and I keep thinking we’ve got at least a month and a half of 100 degree temps. Blah. So, yay for summery patterns! These are seriously adorable. I’ve got a couple baby girl showers coming up, so I think I probably need to give them a try.
I know! It’s ridiculous. I am so glad you like these, they are pretty easy to make up, I would love to see yours!
SO STINKING CUTE! I seriously need to have you teach me how to crochet! You are so talented.
Thanks so much Cat!
They are the cutest thing ever!!!!!!!!!
Just love them :)
