The pattern for these darling crochet baby slip-on shoes has been a long-time coming. I have been working on the pattern here and there for over a year. I am terrible with time management, and never seem to keep all my plates spinning. With some encouragement from my extremely supportive husband, (and some tremendous help from my awesome pattern testers!) I was able to meet a goal and get the pattern finished this month. It has definitely been a labor of love, and I am pleased with how they turned out. I really wanted to create a cute bootie pattern that could be used for boys and girls, and I think this one fits the bill. Sis wears hers all around, and I love how they look on her.

This Baby Boardwalk Slip-ons pattern is an easy, beginner-level pattern. Due to the different colors, there are a few ends to weave in, but not so many to make the task daunting. They work up pretty quick and would be a great project for a new baby or your crochet shop. The pattern also includes a 5th size – newborn. The 0-3 size is pretty small, but not quite small enough for brand-new babies. The newborn size is SO adorable and small.
What you need:
Size F hook (3.75 mm)
Medium Weight Yarn (Knit Picks Brava and Mighty Stitch – the gray ones are Brava and the Oatmeal ones are Mighty Stitch)
Darning Needle
2 Small buttons
