I have been working furiously to bring you Plaid Week 2017! I hope you enjoy it as much as last year. This year’s pattern are for the home and for you, and will have more sizes than last year (the ones that have sizes). I also branched out and used a couple different color schemes.
Let’s dive in with the details!

I spent a lot of time deciding which patterns would be most loved by all. I took your requests to heart and made most of them. There are a few that I think will be Fall 2017 favorites, but sometimes you surprise me with what you love, so we will see which designs are the most popular.
Here’s the lowdown:
This year will be more casual that last year. Last year was more like a crochet-along with specific tools and yarns listed beforehand. This year, since it’s quite a bit before Christmas, will be a bit more laid-back. Also, I am still working on a few last-minute extras, and I don’t have all the details nailed down for a comprehensive materials list. But, I do have some yarns you can get if you feel so inclined. I also have sponsors this year, so PLEASE take a second and thank them for making Plaid Week 2017 possible! Hopefully we can make this a yearly tradition on Whistle and Ivy!

Thank you Daisy!!
Do you have a plaid pattern for stocking cap for a 12 year old boy.
Hi Bethany! I have loved your patterns ever since coming across them on Pinterest, and I am a huge fan! I loved plaid week 2016 and loved plaid week 2017 as well! I absolutely love your fox hat and can’t wait to make one! I watched your recent video on how to join the plaid stitch and I will definitely be trying this the next time I make a plaid hat. I purchased your plaid ebook on etsy that contains the 2016 patterns, and I am wondering if you will be selling one with your 2017 patterns?
Thank you so much for sharing your talent and all of your hard work in creating the patterns on your website!
Thank you so much Brenda for being such a huge support of me and Whistle and Ivy, it appreciate it so much! Yes, there will be another ebook, I am working on some extra freebie patterns to put in it, so give me a couple weeks :)
