Easy Baja Striped Crochet Crossbody Bag
This crochet bag started out as just a quick, striped bag. But soon it became apparent that it was just…boring.
It needed something else.
Adding a little pouch with fringe to the front made all the difference, plus it makes this bag much more functional as you can feel safer putting smaller items inside the pocket with the button enclosure.
The stripes were a must because I had a bunch of scraps I needed to bust through. Maybe you do too?

I was determined to have vertical stripes on the front pocket, for a more baja feel, but that means a lot of ends 🫣
Solution: turn the ends into fringe + use up more scrap yarn.
