Welcome back to the Solar System CAL! Today we are moving on from the planets and making some fun outer space object to add to the blanket. Today we will be making the C2C comet square.
When I was in elementary, we had the opportunity to see a comet passing by. I did a bit of research, but I can’t say for sure which comet it was, as I don’t remember exactly when I saw it. But I can say that I would appreciate seeing a comet more now then I did then. I am looking forward to the Solar Eclipse coming up in a week, are you?
Let’s dive into making the comets. They will be similar to Jupiter, as you will use two bobbins of gray to work around the inside white color. You can carry the color, but I found it looked too messy for my taste, so I decided to do extra bobbins and have a couple more ends to weave in at the end. You need to make THREE comets for the blanket.
