LANDSCAPE RIDGED CROCHET MITTENS – CROCHET PATTERN
I don’t know about you, but it feels like a bit of a downer when the holidays are over, and we (in the northern hemisphere) are left with dreary, dark cold.
But each January, I try to crochet something for myself. After the flurry of gift-making, it’s nice to take a break and remember why crochet is such an important daily routine.
I hope you make sure to make yourself something this month, even if it’s something small and quick. The feeling of making and keep a creation can bring a sparkle that maybe you need right now.
ABOUT THESE TEXTURED CROCHET MITTENS
This pattern is part of the Frayed Knot collection, a pattern library designed by Jonna Ventura that we acquired in 2021. We have been working up the patterns and readying them to re-release to you!
I’m assuming Jonna named this pattern “Landscape Mittens” because she used Lion Brand Landscape yarn for the colored stripes. I do like the ombre look that those yarns provide, but decided to go with their newer line, Landscape Renewed, as I loved the blue/teal color way. The color changes are loooooong, so expect to see only slight color variations in your mittens, but I liked the look of the tube yarn for the stripe rows.
