I used letter magnets on the refrigerator to keep our son occupied while I was busy in the kitchen (they weren’t as pretty as yours though!). It is amazing how quickly he learned his letter sounds. As he got older he started asking me how to spell things so that he could put words together. By the time he was 3 he knew many site words and was reading fairly well by the time he was 4. He will be reading before you know it!
Great idea for little ones to learn their letters! I seem to be clicking on everything ‘magnet’ lately. Yet, I have not made any of them! Thanks for the inspiration!
These are super cute! I am looking to make some larger letters like this for my son’s room. I’m visiting from the Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop (Ducks in a Row). I’d love it if you came by and linked this post up to our Moonlight & Mason Jars link up on Monday nights. My blog is http://www.mamadish.com. Thanks!!

P.S. I just made a pair of the Mary Janes in size 0-3 months and they are so adorable. Thanks for sharing the free pattern!
Wow! He sounds like a very bright kid, I hope mine is able to learn that quickly:) You are so welcome for the pattern, I am so glad you like it!
These are great! And you will be shock how much learning of letters happens between 2 and 3! Awesome!
Thanks! He has already picked up so much, it’s wonderful!

Thanks so much. My little one just loves magnets, I have others that aren’t letters, and he just loves them too! So glad I could inspire you :)

Thanks so much, Heather! Thanks for hosting, I added my link!
I LOVE these… I don’t have a child, but I do have a fridge… I could make words while I’m waiting for the kettle to boil!

Thanks so much!
Awesome magnets! That’s such a great deal for $4 and they’re so much cuter than the plastic ones. Great way to use up some scrap paper too :)
