Ah summertime.
Summer is definitely a time for soaking up the sun, spending time near water and generally being outdoors. Outside is one of my favorite places to be (when it’s warm 🥶).
And even though the thought of crocheting under a blanket near a warm fire feels out of season right now, it doesn’t mean there isn’t any space for crochet when the weather turns warm. ☀️

Last year we had our first ever Crochet Summer Camp, and it was such a blast. All patterns were quick and easy, and I loved seeing you whip up your projects and share them! I hope you join in and share your work again (or for the first time) this year!

HOW IT WORKS:
This summer camp is virtual!
On the morning of each day during camp week, a new pattern will be released. This year’s theme is Outdoor Living.
For best results, I recommend joining the Whistle and Ivy mailing list so you can be sure you won’t miss a single day (and you never know when a special freebie may drop 😜).

For those who like to plan ahead, or want to know what they are getting into, OR just generally hate surprises 🤣, I am disclosing our summer camp projects this year!

PROJECT LIST:
Hanging planter bundle (3 patterns) (suggested: macrame rope, clothesline, #4 cotton yarn, #5 cotton yarn)
Hanging Birdfeeder (suggested: #4 cotton yarn, clothesline)
Hanging birdhouse/basket (suggested: t-shirt yarn (#6 bulky yarn)
“PLARN” Outdoor Seat cushions (needed: $1 plastic party tablecloths) Raffia Place Mats – (Get Raffia on Amazon!)
Fishing net beach wall hanging (suggested: #4 cotton yarn, stick or driftwood + beachy embellishments or air plants)

All new pattern notifications will be shared on socials, and you will find all info from the Whistle and Ivy homepage each day, but please reach out if you have questions that aren’t answered here.

xoxo,
