I love living in my rural small town. We have just enough conveniences to feel like we aren’t missing out, but still have a lovely small-town feel. I admit, I prefer the city with its hustle and bustle and things to do everywhere, all the time, but we are definitely happy here. That being said, we don’t have a lot of craft store/yarn store options which is not great. When we lived in Arizona several years ago, there was a Hobby Lobby, Joann, and Michaels near where we lived and I was very happy to spend a lot of time there (hubby –not so much), and I definitely miss that!
But you do what you can with what you have, and I just make it a point to visit all the stores when we make a trip to the “big city”. For this project, I picked out a few of my favorite colors from the chunky Yarn Bee line at Hobby Lobby. I am a bit of a sucker for Robin’s Egg Blue, so I had to use it to make my scarf. It goes beautifully with the Mango and Gray, don’t you think? (I am also a sucker for a grapefruit-ish coral color)
This pattern worked up easily and quickly (you know I love that), and I had a new, cozy and comfy scarf in just a few hours. Check out this gorgeous sheen. Are you drooling yet?

Happy crocheting!
I love Yarn Bee True Colors! It’s so soft, which makes working with it really nice! And thankfully my Hobby Lobby just got more color options, so I can make more things with it!
For those who cannot get to a Hobby Lobby, you can order on line . I have ordered several times and the yarn was deliver right to my door.
Cannot access this pattern. I live in the US
As stated in the post, the pattern is included in the âthink Bigâ ebook, which is where the link leads you. Please look at the ebook to see the pattern.
I did look in the book and did not find it.
I don’t know how to help, sorry! It’s on the last page of the book. If you can’t get the book to load, I am sorry, I don’t know how to offer further assistance.
I cant get it :( I live in Canada Im not sure if that is why.. can I please get the pattern another way? its for my ill grandma
Thanks for letting me know this, I checked the link and it’s bad! I fixed it now. Happy crocheting and I hope your grandma is on the mend soon.
I still canât get the pattern
You followed the link to hobby lobby? It’s in a bulky project book, you download it on their site. I am sorry, if that link isn’t working for you I don’t know how else to get it to you. That is the only place the pattern is.
Please help!!! Where do I find this pattern? I’ve tried clicking on the pattern book & other links related to Hobby Lobby, but it just takes me to a page that says access denied. Error code 16, blocked for security rules.
Is there another way I can get this pattern?
I am sorry Lynn! I just checked the link and was able to pull it up. Are you saying you can’t access anything at Hobbylobby.com?
No, I can’t access the site at all. But I now believe after doing some extra research it’s because I’m in the UK & it’s been blocked to outside the US. Is there any other way I can get hold of the pattern? I’ve really fallen in love with it!!
I only thing I can think is the direct link to the project book. Does this link load for you?

IT WORKED!!!!! đ Thank you so very much!!! I look forward to giving it a try!!
Thanks again
Lynn x
I made a school spirit scarf with your pattern for a friendâs daughter. I cross-stitched the school logo on the pockets. She loves it and says her friends are envious. Thank you so much!
What a cute idea! I love it!
Love this! I’ve made 3. The 1st I made exactly the same but the other 2 fiddled with a little. I made the pockets 3 rows longer because my daughters requested it.
I enjoy working with Yarn Bee yarn but I don’t have the chance to very often because like you, it’s a long way to the “big city” where Hobby Lobby is.
Thank you for your incredible patterns.
Yay! I am so glad you like the pattern! It is very easy and fun to make :)
By the way, Bethany, your patterns and site are my favorite sources for crocheting designs!!! You do a great job in creating new and exciting items. My only problem is trying to decide which ones I want to make!!!!! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and skills!
Thank you so much!!
Trying to get the pattern, nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated, love that pattern. Thanks in advance.
If you click the large letters “Hobby Lobby Think Big project book” it will take you there.
Hi your scarf is beautiful. When I click on the link it brings me to a pillow and I tried to search for the scarf but couldn’t find it. Not sure if the link is bad or not. Just wanted to let you know:)
The pillow is part of the ebook with 3 patterns :) The scarf is the last one, if you look through them.
I couldn’t find it either! BUT — when I was on the giant pillow page, I saw “Download Pattern” and I hit that button and THERE it was a couple of patterns down!!!!!! So, if you don’t want to print all of the other patterns, just set it up to print only page 4. Whew…yay me….I really needed that pattern!!!!!
Ok I see it now. Thank you!
