Welcome to Whistle and Ivy! I’m Bethany, a blogger, a crocheter, a writer, a wife, a mama, and I am a Mormon. I’m married to a stud who flies an emergency helicopter, a mama to an energetic three-year-old and a sweet baby girl.

I started this blog is 2012, when I was struggling with my first baby and life as a stay-at-home-mom. What I thought was just the “baby-blues” turned into a more difficult situation. I was able to get help with the support of my husband and family. This blog created a place for me to write and share, a place where I could exist outside of diapers and laundry, and connect with people who share my passions.
At Whistle and Ivy, I share my crochet patterns, these baby boat shoes, and these women’s flip flops are two of my favorites. I also like to share recipes, home decor, sewing, jewelry, and my other domestic pursuits. I hope you find something here that inspires you!
I truly feel blessed every day that I am able to share my ideas with you.
