I am FINALLY getting around to plaid!! My friend requested your slipper for Christmas. Took forever to find the yarn and I’m hoping to have them finished on Sunday. Anyway, in your pattern you never say what color to start with…I had to read through the pattern to realize was black (for these color choices) and I was wondering if you could adjust the pattern to match the picture (Naming what color to start with etc).
I also wanted to ask you…when you carry the yarn for the next switch, do you carry it every stitch, or every 3 stitches? I was doing it every stitch and the stitches looked messy…if you mentioned this somewhere in the pattern I apologize, I didn’t see it. Please advise…and thanks love all your patterns!!!

Bethany, I love the plaids, I have done severyof the wrist warmers, varies colors, even did some in our college colors.
