I always work in the BL of the chain, just because it’s easier! I prefer to sk 1 (and ch 1) for a hdc but you can do 2 for sure.

After you created your 50 inch chain did you skip the first two chains and HDC Into the 3rd back loop of the foundation chain and at the end you chained two and continued HDC BL?
