Love your videos they have been a big help. I have a question, is this pattern done the same way for both left and right foot?
If this sounds like a silly question, I apologize I am a beginner at crocheting.
    Thank you,

I absolutely love your crochet work and patterns! I do have a complaint, your site loads so slow, it jumps around so bad while the ads load. Have you checked the site speed? It is really annoying trying to read a paragraph or pattern. Please, I am only letting you know about the load speed, but love, love, love your site.

    With Kind Regards,

Hi Linda! I am quite surprised, I have a pretty crappy internet connection in the middle of no where and it seems to load fine for me, but I will definitely look into it! I have emailed my ad providers and hosting to see if there are some changes I can make. Thanks for your support!

I do appreciate your patterns but I will say I’m only going to do this 1 pair instead of all your patterns because it’s really bad. I’ve been to a lot of them and this is the worse with the video loading and all the ads, it’s very frustrating.

        • Tianna says

One more thing just so you have feedback…. it gives you the “close” option on video but you have to press it over and over again and it won’t close I have brand new s10 with high speed internet so I’m not sure what the issue is.

Hey there do you have any patterns in toddler sizes for any if your baby shoes? I did find the Mary Jane ones but was hoping you had some other one’s since I love your shoes so much :=)

  4. Amy says

I love these patterns and they are easy to work up. Is it possible to provide a more printer friendly version? The pictures are large and this pattern requires about 12 pages to print. It didn’t allow me to copy and paste to a word document. I hate to complain about a free pattern, but I think this would be more user friendly. Thanks!

I need to make a bigger sole
    For a 6 month baby
And i have 2.5 mm hook
    Can you please help me?

  6. Youa says

I was making your soles and when I came to round 3, for some reason at the top of the toe part when you do the 2 stitches into a stitch 5 times. I seem to have quite a few stitches to go before I do the 9 sc stitches along the side. Do I repeat the 2 stitches into a stitch 5 times on the other side of the toe part? I seemed to have a lot of stitches left when I complete my rounds. I used a stitch marker and I counted all stitches for each round but the 3rd round was problematic for me…Any help would be appreciated. I also watched your video a few times too and was unsure where I went wrong. Thanks!

I’m looking for the pattern for the soles. Do you still have it up? I know I must be overlooking it. Please help!! Lol

I made a pair of these a few months ago and liked them so much that I came back to make another pair. Did you happen to edit your pattern, because it seems slightly different (especially the ankle tie I noticed is different.) I think your original pattern was easier to follow along, I got stuck a few times on this one (the 6-9 month pattern) and had to re-watch the video to remember what to do.

Is there any reasons this patten of your sandals uses 2 sole pieces for each shoe and the others patterns don’t? Why does this shoe need two sole pieces. I just made the strap flip flop one and they only called for one per shoe. . I’m sure I can just do one each and not as thick, just wondered your reasoning. You must have decided to do two for a reason. What am missing And why?

    • Bethany says

I prefer 2 soles. In fact, my flip-flops are my only sandals that don’t have two soles. With the heel being low on the flip flops, instead of tying around the ankle, they stay on better without a thicker, heavy sole. You can make these with only one sole, if you prefer.

have you ever tried any other yarn other than caron ? like redheart (supersaver) or bernat (premium ) for these patterns or would you suggest more of a baby yarn?

    • Bethany says

Yes, although they are all considered medium weight, I find RH and Bernat will make a bulkier finished bootie. Knitpicks Brava and Lion Wool-ease are okay. I have never tried baby yarn, simply because I don’t like the colors! But you can sure give it a try.

      • emily says

i have never seen caron simply soft because walmart in ontario doesnt sell it, but i looked it up on yarn inspirations and it is considered a medium worsted 4
just the same as redheart and bernat

so are you using caron simply soft light?

  11. Sarah Porter says

The pattern downloads, but your black and white logo covers half the pattern, so it can’t be read :(

    • Bethany says

It appears to be working on my end. What is it doing when you click it? You might have programs on your computer that prevent it from opening. Do you have a current version of Adobe Reader?

  12. rachel says

I’m still a beginner.. so im having a few problems.. in step 3.. where you have the {} am i supposed to be doing something different? i followed along, but i’m ending the side of the shoe in an awkward spot and it doesnt look right at all! any suggestions of what i’m doing wrong? my computer will not get me the details of your free patterns I want “bitty bow baby sandals”. Please help. Maybe snail mail me the pattern or e. mail help they are adorable and I have a grandaughter on the way!

    • Bethany says

I’m sorry Sandra! Maybe you could go to the library and print it there? I am working on getting all my patterns in a book, so readers can have a hard copy of them all! I hope to have in finished after summertime.
