Today is the last day of our crochet along,  its been so fun to see your projects in the group! Today is a different pattern than the others. It’s The Sun and the focal point of the finished blanket so I decided to make it quite a bit larger. It’s the size of four squares (maybe you are wondering how it would all fit together?). You can make it using the techniques and skills you have learned from making the other squares. You are a C2C Master!

Solar System CAL - The Sun | Finish this fun Space-themed blanket with the final square, the large focal point of the blanket, the C2C Sun!

Here is the recap:
4 blank corners
5 small planets
2 Large Planets
1 Saturn
1 Jupiter
3 Comets
2 Rocket ships
2 Asteroids
1 Sun

On Friday I will do a quick post on sewing the squares together.

In case it wasn’t obvious, you will make ONE of this last square.

  1. I am loving this pattern, I am looking forward to putting it all together soon. I will definitely post a picture when I’m finished. Thank you for sharing your talent.

  2. Hello, could you please let me know where the “how to” is for joining all the squares together please?

Also on the plain corner squares you don’t mention about doing a SC all the way around, but you do on the others, do I or don’t I?
    It’s the 1st time I have ever done C2C
    Many thanks
    Penny

      1. Thank you so very much for getting back to me. I’ve never done a C2C before and I’m loving it x thank BW Penny

  3. I have never crocheted anything in my life, but I am going to make this blanket for my grandson that is going to be born in January. I hope I have time to do this by then! I watched the day one video and then realized that you are using terms that I don’t really know what they are for sure, like slip stich and double something. Do you have any super beginner video’s that show how to start with putting the tread on the hook properly and how to do the stitches you are referencing in a slow easy to practice and follow along view along with what the abbreviations are on the video?
