Weave in all your ends. Lay your two pieces side-by-side and flip them how you would like then to look when worn. Then, using your extra contrasting color, sc all around both pieces. Be sure to work 3 sc in each corner.

  1. Thank you for rainbow wrist warmers. I’ve made a pair in pink and grey with UK dk and 4mm hook. Great size for smaller hands.

  2. I love the rainbow c2c arm warmers, I haven’t got any Aran (medium weight) in the right colours but I’ve got loads of uk Dk. I know that I would need to use a smaller hook – what size would you recommend? Also what size do I need to make the rectangle so they fit?

  3. hi bethany
    when you do c2c, should the project not be a perfect square? i have made a few small baby blankets and on the decrease side i have used another colour but one side looks bigger than the other.

    for the gloves, other than counting, how would you decide when to start to decrease?

    this stitch pattern has me totally addicted and i just keep making even if the result isnt perfect. the gloves are next. i will be making them in solid colours….i’m lazy and all those yarn ends put me into a sweat….;o}

    1. It CAN be a square, but it can be a rectangle too! You can start decreasing when they are the width and height that you want, I explain it more fully in the video, did you watch it?
      yes, the yarn ends are a bit of a job. But they are worth it!

      1. no sadly i didnt watch the video. i dont have a very good comp and online videos are really a pain in the ***……so i rely heavily on the written pattern. but i get you what you mean as i do do wrist warmers a different way so i will figure it out. thanks for your reply

      2. Bethany, hope you don’t mind me replying to the C2C as well. I have made a couple of c2c blankets, one I made as a square but the other one I did as a rectangle, you can make it as long as you want to.

  4. love the pattern thank you & thank you for the video i cant read patterns im still learning & how do i print the pattern out please ?

      1. thanks for replying can only find video tutorial no written instructions what a shame as i really like these

          1. Yes, those are the instructions for making a corner to corner. Are you familiar with the technique? I have a video as well (the link is above the graph).

  5. these are beautiful, thank you for sharing. Have you ever tried making a puzzle piece? (the Autism symbol). I have knitted toques with puzzle pieces, but not crocheted. I’m thinking of experimenting and trying the same sort of graph, but I don’t have much experience changing colours with crochet. Do you have any suggestions?
