Happy Friday, my friends!
You may remember that I have a total black thumb (these crochet succulents are still green, that’s about all I can do), so if I want something bright and pretty in my home, it has to be artificial. But artificial doesn’t have to be drab or faded!
I was doing a big of yard work and was clipping some dead twigs from a shrub in our backyard, and I really loved the look of these little sticks. The grayish-blue bark is just beautiful. I decided to rescue them from the waste pile and make them pretty with this twig blossom bouquet.

Use some stick, twigs and artificial flowers to create the gorgeous twig blossom bouquet centerpiece.

This bouquet is so pretty, but the best part is that it takes only a few minutes to create. So if you are looking for a fun and easy weekend project, this might be the one for you! I put on a movie and set to work, it was fun and requires zero crafty skill.

I absolutely love how it looks on my retro fireplace hearth, so fun and cheery. I think I need to do something about that green glass vase though, what do you think? I might spray paint it white. On the other hand, the green glass fits my mid-century retro house.

I am sharing the details to this beautiful twig blossom centerpiece over at Pretty Providence today, so click over there and get crafting!

Try these crochet succulents, they will stay green nearly forever. These pom-pom dandelion flowers will never lose their fluffy tufts, and this stick wreath will always be pink and pretty.

  1. I love your idea ! With the vase, how about a basket vase, made out of rattan or other basket materials. Many times textures can give a natural element that baskets and their texture can provide!

    Try it!
