Summertime is in full swing here (although it hasn’t started “officially”). We have lots of fun things planned for the upcoming months and are going to try a few new things as well. For instance, Sis has never been camping! We might do a dry run in the backyard to see how she handles sleeping outside and all together in one space. And neither of my kids have been crawdad fishing, so that is definitely on our summer bucket list. Summertime is the perfect time to try new things! If you have a friend or relative that has been wanting to try crochet, summer is a great time. And although afghans are great practice (who wants to sit under one in the heat?) and washcloths are quick and easy, sometimes it’s fun to make something fun and trendy when you are first learning. It’s encouraging to have a completed project that you are excited to use. These 12 Beginner-Friendly Crochet Patterns are cute, fun, and the perfect way to get your feet wet with crochet.
