This coming week is going to be a bit busy. I have a big creative blogger conference, and one of the events in an 80’s party (I can’t decide if I am excited or not, I don’t really love dancing in public with strangers). I am a bit of an introvert in certain situations! Anyway, I knew I needed some funky neon accessories, so I whipped up these Crochet Fishnet Fingerless  Gloves using the diamond mesh stitch. They work up pretty quick, and I love how they look with this bright yarn! So fun.

Depending on the yarn, these could really be for anything! They are super comfortable to wear, too.

  1. Hi, thank you so much for the pattern! I got confused after the first round of sfc. Do we slip stitch to join making a circle after the single crochet foundation chain round? I think that’s why people are confused! Please clarify! Thank you!

    Sue

  2. How do you get to see the video? There doesn’t seem to be a place to click on to watch it. Maybe I have to go to you tube to watch it?

  3. Unclear if they are worked flat or slip stitch in the round. Also what does, “work a ch-less foundation” mean”? Don’t you just chain 32 or 36?

    1. Oh! You are right, I have neglected a very important part! You will be working in the round, so you will join your foundation into a loop. A chainless foundation is a way of working the stitches without working a chain first, the result is a stretchier foundation. I have included a video so you can see how it’s done.

  4. Is there a video? I am not clear on how it connects to be able to go in the round and then be a glove. I may be missing something or misreading.

    1. I am sorry! I must have misread which post this comment was on. There is no video for this pattern. But I would love to help however I can. The glove it worked in a spiral, but it turns into a tube when you work enough rows. These gloves are simply open-stitch tubes. Does that make sense?

  5. Step 4 seems to be cut off. It says *ch then stops. Is there more or are we supposed to repeat step 3? Very confused. Please help.

    1. Hm. It looks good on my end, maybe the page didn’t load correctly?
      Step 4 reads:
You will now work in continuous rounds: *Ch 5. Sc in next 5-ch loop.* Repeat all around.
Repeat round four until your fingerless gloves are as long as you would like. Sl st into next 5-ch space to finish off.

  6. Love the pattern. Love the colors. I made it with loops and threads soft and shiny circus. I made one in about 45 minutes. I made them with the single crochet in the third chain rather than the space. My preference though. 😊 thank you!

  7. i would like to try this pattern but everytime I try to go to the pattern it keeps saying page not found. is there anyway you could send me the pattern via email?

  8. Ur site is very confusing. And hard to get to work.i really wanted to use ur pattern for fingerless. Gloves but i finally got through to the end and half of the pattern. Was covered up with a ad so i cant see it please help .i really. Like it and would love to try it

    1. Are you using a device? Sometimes the light gray watermark shows up black in the default app. Try using a different reading app to view the pattern.

  9. I just love these buzzy accessories ! I’m going to jazz them up with beads and sequins xoxox
