July Birthday

July is a fun month because it's the month of my husband's birthday! I wanted to throw a huge shindig for him, but I am not a party planner, so I hope that he was okay with just cupcakes and icecream. I actually love baking, so it was a good time for me, plus we were able to get together with friends we hadn't seen in a while!

There was also fireworks a few nights before. This was my first attempt at photographing them. It did NOT turn out great. Obviously.

It was an especially fun birthday for Dallas because of his awesome birthday gift.

Big Horn Sheep

Today, we drove out to a park near our home where big horn sheep come down to graze. We have been before, but it's always fun to see them. It is especially cool because they are not timid around humans at all, even though they are a wild herd.You can get so close to them, its amazing!

Also, there was a little baby sheep with the group.So cute!

 The group was made up of all females, but while we were standing and watching, a big male came up and joined them. He looked pretty intimidating. His horns are much bigger than the females and he has those crazy-eyes sheep have. But also, he looked a little like the scary devil thing on Legend. Anyone? Anyone? An oldie with Tom Cruise? Just me, I'm sure.

We've seen 'em, and, not gonna lie, we'll probably go see 'em again!
